What a day! We arrived in Dublin at 9AM Great Britian time, which is 3AM Boston time. We hopped off the jet, walked quickly through the airport and boarded a bus for Dublin. Rush hour traffic got us into downtown Dublin, where we were met by a lovely lady named Mary. She showed us the way to a cute cafe where we had a delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs, toast, and freshly squeezed oj.
The streets in Dublin are so sweet...
The pubs inviting...
And the buildings are old and, in many ways, some reminded me of Boston.
Lots of churches...
Including St. Patrick's Cathedral...
In the side garden at St. Patrick's Cathedral was a memorial statue of James Lee Guiness!
This Guiness?!
Much to Bill's delight, we set out and found the Grand Masonic Lodge of Ireland, which is the second oldest Lodge in the world, London having the oldest.

Dublin was very fun, so glad we took the time for a short visit!
Time to leave for Scotland... Wait!! THAT'S our plane?? So small!
Bill doesn't care! He can't wait to get to Scotland, his family's homeland! This trip is all about Bill!
